Language Version: article in English

I think I should revise my LatPro Job Board Check post because the following article shows that this portal is innovative and doesn’t fear publishing their audience stats: I read on Cheezhead’s blog that LatPro have subscribed voluntarily to the free audience statistics tool Quantcast.

I find that’s a great and courageous move. I wish, for the sake of transparency, that there were more job sites to follow their example. According to the metrics published on Quantcast, they have more than 99k visits per month, which is good for a specialised site (LatPro is a Hispanic and Latino-oriented career portal).

However, the thing I see is that most of the visits (71.000 out of 117.000 global ones) are localised in the US. For a job board that considers itself as a specialist on the South American job market, that’s not so well targeted. Or is LatPro aiming at finding candidates in the US to work in South America? Hm…
